Shooting In Boise: Police Investigation Ongoing In The Case

The Boise Police department is currently investigating the shooting in Boise that took place on Thursday evening.

It all started when police officers on duty received a call from Bannock Street (between 17th and 18th street) regarding the incident at 7:50 pm. Upon arrival, the police found an injured man with a gunshot wound. Officers called for immediate first aid and transported the injured victim to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigations into the shooting in Boise by detectives reveal the involvement of two men in the alleged incident. There was an altercation between the two individuals, reasons of which are still under investigation. Upon arrival, detectives could apprehend the second individual involved in the scene, as he was still present on the spot. Detectives interviewed the second man on the spot; however, he was not arrested. The injured victim is yet to be interviewed.

A clearer picture of the incident that unfolded will be revealed once all the eyewitnesses and individuals involved are interviewed by the detectives, along with forensic analysis of evidence collected from the crime scene. The Boise Police Department will be sending a detailed report of the investigation to the prosecutor’s office once the process is complete. The detailed report will clarify the exact nature and details of this altercation and how the case will develop. Prosecutors are likely to press charges based on the finding of the report.

As of now, the police department has not released the names of the individuals involved in the shooting. Neither have they divulged any details about probable causes for the incident. However, the police mention that the two men involved are not a threat to the general community.
